I had very high expectations for this book after finishing the first book in the series the other day, but sadly it did not live up to the expactions 😫

I absolutely loved the first book, I was completely invested in Gavin & Theas relationship, but didn't feel the same with this one! Although I liked Mack & Liv as separate characters, I didn't feel much chemistry between them which didn't make me feel invested in their relationship.

👍 As always, this book was filled with lots of funny banter between the unique characters, and it was a quick read!

👎 That "spark" was missing for me which didn't make me feel invested in the love story. It felt rushed and almost out of place to me!

Recommend? Yes! I 100% still recommend it if you're a romcom lover, and I am still really excited about starting the third book 🤗
