"The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig Review
Book 12: "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really had to think about this review for a few days, not because I was unsure about my rating, but because I wanted to make sure my review contained everything I wanted to say about this masterpiece.
This was truly one of the most impressive books I have read, it honestly changed my perspective on life and made me think about past/present/future in a completely different way.
All of as have always had the thoughts of "what if I had pursued that?", "what if I had done this differently?". This book makes you realize that those "what ifs" aren't what is important in life, and instilled that "the grass isn't always greener on the other side."
Matt Haig speaks to the joys that can be found in living, and how your smallest actions can have such huge impacts on other peoples lives.
I can't recommend this enough and it differently lives up to the hype. It has deep philosophical roots, but is also fast paced and easy to read. This quickly became one of my favourites and I would 100% recommend.
Let me know your thoughts below! Did it live up to the hype for you? ✨📖
