"Accidentally Engaged" by Farah Heron Review

I'm going to start with a shout out to all my Ontario friends 🇨🇦: The book is based in Toronto and lots of Ontario towns are mentioned throughout (The main character even makes a trip to Tim Hortons at one point!) which I thought was really cool! 🤩

It's a cute story that will definitely make you want to start baking bread 🥖 (post book I immediately started looking up sourdough starters). I wasn't a huge fan of the characters, I felt like none of them really meshed well together and that most of the relationships were toxic. I also felt that some big topics (one being mental health) were just lightly brushed on and then forgotten about.

I would still recommend it if you're looking for a light easy read, but unfortunately it won't be making the cut as one of my favourite reads this month. 📚✨
